RECTOR OF CZESTOCHOWA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY invites applications for the position of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (F/M) IN THE GROUP OF RESEARCH AND TEACHING STAFF IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING at the Faculty of Civil Engineering Applicants must meet the requirements specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, the Statute of Czestochowa University of Technology, and the specific criteria established by the selection committee of the relevant unit. Eligibility criteria: A declaration of intent to publish scholarly work in the field of engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of Civil Engineering, Surveying and Transport. Availability for full-time employment at Czestochowa University of Technology as the primary place of employment for a period of at least one year. Knowledge of general issues related to Civil Engineering. Experience in participating in research projects is desirable. A PhD degree in the field of engineering and technical sciences. Good command of the English language. Good command of the Polish language - applies to international candidates. Ability to use standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.), CAD programs, ability to use numerical simulation software. Documented mathematical competence is welcome. For candidates from disciplines other than Civil Engineering, Surveying and Transport, documented teaching competence in the field of construction engineering will be considered an asset. A reference letter from a senior academic researcher. Documented work in the field of 3D printing will be considered an asset. Competence in the field of Automatic Control and Robotics is desirable. Knowledge of the principles of modeling physical engineering processes. Possession of a teaching qualification will be considered an asset. Key responsibilities: Conducting scientific research and development work. Conducting teaching activities. Performing organisational duties. We offer: Full-time employment under an employment contract. Remuneration in accordance with Annex No. 1 to the Remuneration Regulations for Employees of Czestochowa University of Technology (the regulations are available at: https://pcz.pl/pracownik/sprawy-kadrowe-i-socjalne/dzial-personalny/reg… ). Seniority allowance depending on years of service, i.e., from 3% to 20% of the basic salary.
