Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics. The School of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Researcher for a (approx.) 4-month period ending 31st December 2026 and to support the bioinformatic and statistical analysis of proteomic, phosphoproteomic and related multi omics datasets. The role will contribute to the School's research activity by developing robust, reproducible analytical workflows that generate biologically meaningful insights from complex time course experiments. The post holder will perform bioinformatic analysis of proteomic and phosphoproteomic datasets, integrate these with complementary transcriptomic and other relevant omics data, and access, curate and data mine publicly available repositories such as PRIDE. The role will involve close collaboration with research team members to interpret findings, refine analytical approaches and ensure that outputs are scientifically rigorous and clearly documented.
