GRANT PERIOD: START: 01/01/2023 END: 31/12/2026 Main Research Centre: Vice-Rectorate for Research and Technology Transfer LOCATION AND OPENING HOURS: CITIC, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm TIMELINE FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF RESEARCH STAFF BY RESEARCH AREAS AND STRATEGIC PRIORITIES ESTIMATED TIME FRAME FOR COMPLETING THE TASKS 2 months TASK START DATE END DATE DURATION Support and collaboration for the management of the ‘Talentos Inclusivos’ project, including the coordination of inclusive educational activities, the development of accessible materials, the organisation of workshops and events, and the communication and facilitation of working groups for the development of technological challenges with the participating schools and ASPACE Coruña. 1 November 2026 31/12/2026 2 months Support for the management of the EDIGIT (Erasmus+) project, covering coordination with international partners, technical and administrative monitoring of activities and results, the production of accessible training resources, and the organisation of dissemination activities and European meetings. 1 November 2026 31/12/2026 2 months Collaboration in the preparation of presentations, reports and other documents/guidelines relating to the Inclusive Talents and EDIGIT projects and other CITIC initiatives: content, editing and layout. 1 November 2026 31/12/2026 2 months Assistance with the organisation of the XoveTIC Conference, through the promotion of activities, the publication of key dates and the facilitation of the submission of research papers. 1 November 2026 31/12/2026 2 months Management of outreach activities and events for Talentos Inclusivos, EDIGIT, XoveTIC and other CITIC initiatives. 1 November 2026 31/12/2026 2 months Support in the planning, organisation and implementation of social knowledge transfer activities, including citizen action initiatives, scientific outreach activities, citizen science initiatives and participation in open science fairs linked to CITIC. 1 November 2026 31/12/2026 2 months Support for CITIC’s communication and outreach work via social media, the website and general and specialist media. 1 November 2026 31/12/2026 2 months The Centre for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) comprises more than 300 researchers. As part of the Network of Research Centres within the Galician University System, it provides research staff with high-performance and specialised computing infrastructure that facilitates the execution of projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, data science and engineering, high-performance computing, smart services and networks, and cybersecurity. The centre is equipped with unique laboratories, such as the technology demonstrator and the virtual reality and robotics laboratories, where prototypes or the results of research projects can be showcased, serving as a platform to highlight the R&D&I capabilities of the various research teams. CITIC carries out activities to support the dissemination of research, promotes the ‘Talentos Inclusivos’ citizen science project and the Erasmus+ EDIGIT project, and organises the annual XoveTIC Conference, amongst other initiatives to promote the centre.
