The competition for the position is open to candidates who meet the requirements specified in Articles 113 and 116(2) of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, and who satisfy the following eligibility criteria: holding a Master’s degree in Canon Law; having a documented record of scholarly achievements corresponding to the research profile pursued in the Department of History, General Norms, the Law of the Sacraments, and Institutes of Consecrated Life, particularly in the field of the law of institutes of consecrated life and societies of apostolic life; thorough knowledge of the regulations governing religious life and the specific nature of consecrated life in its various forms; documented expert and organizational experience related to the activities of institutes of consecrated life; confirmed research involvement, particularly through conducting archival queries and scholarly research in the archives of ecclesiastical institutions; scholarly activity including presentations at academic conferences and symposia, including documented active participation, certified by certificates, in at least two academic conferences; demonstrated publication activity in the field of the history or law of institutes of consecrated life, in the form of publications in publishing houses and journals included in the official lists used for the evaluation of the quality of scholarly activity, at a minimum (published or accepted for publication): one article in a journal ranked at least 70 points, or two articles in ranked journals, one of which must be ranked at least 40 points, or authorship/co-authorship of a scholarly monograph (within the two years preceding the announcement of the competition); good command of at least one modern foreign language; completion of an international research scholarship or research internship; teaching experience, particularly in working with students; a declaration of readiness to affiliate with KUL the scholarly output obtained during employment at the University; experience in obtaining funding for scientific research, as well as in carrying out research grants and scholarly projects.
