Applicants should have a doctoral degree (habilitation is mandatory) in sociology or other social sciences (political science, law, management, economy, educational studies, and more).Candidates from all sub-disciplines of sociology are encouraged to apply, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in social diversity, social research, digitalization and social change, statistics and big data analysis. Research expectations for a candidate include publishing research in peer-reviewed journals, acquiring research grants, and advising undergraduate and graduate students and postdocs in research. As well we expect candidate to do lectures and workshops for students and to do some organizational work in the institute. The candidate should meet the following requirements: academic title: PhD in the field of social sciences (habilitation is required), scientific and/or practical interests in social diversity, social research, digitalization and social change; scientific achievements: scientific publications in the discipline of sociology (at least 3 in the last 3 years); availability for organizational work at the Institute of Sociology; documented knowledge of the English language at a level that allows conducting classes and conducting scientific activities.
