KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: conducting research and analyses in the scope of genetics and molecular biology mainly on the model plants and cultivated plants, fulfilling the high standard, in accordance with the rules defined in the “Strategy of the University of Silesia in Katowice”, preparing papers and publishing them in scientific journals with International outreach as well as participation in the scientific conferences, teaching classes both in Polish and English in the scope of genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, plant biotechnology and related sciences, applying for financing of the research projects in the National Science Centre competitions or for financing from other external sources, including the international sources, participating in realization of research projects and research-development works as a part of research conducted by the Research group on Research Group on Genetics and Biotechnology of Plant Somatic Cells, the teams cooperating in the Institute of Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection, and as a part of the candidate’s individual research, participation in the activities popularizing science and education realized at the University of Silesia in Katowice, realization of the annual teaching load in the amount of 210 teaching hours, realization of organizational duties in accordance with the Individual Assignment of Duties.
