About the research group The Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL) is a leading research center located in the southern part of Barcelona. It brings together the biomedical research efforts of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona (UB) on the Bellvitge Campus. As of January 1st, 2020, IDIBELL has also integrated the Centre of Regenerative Medicine (CMRB). IDIBELL’s primary research areas include cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine, and regenerative medicine. About the role Job requirements Professional experience Proven track record in Processes, Operations, and Quality areas, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in applying lean methodologies to optimize processes and improve efficiency. Prior experience in designing and implementing procedures and policies in Operations within service companies is essential. Knowledge and expertise in operations across various management areas (e.g., Human Resources, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics, Marketing, IT) is highly desirable and considered a strong plus. Education and training Holder of a university degree (preferably in Engineering, though other relevant fields will also be considered). Technical & soft skills Results-Oriented: Focused on achieving outcomes, with a pragmatic and proactive approach, ready to handle unexpected challenges. Teamwork: Strong team-working skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity and prioritize effectively when faced with conflicting demands. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities, with a strong sense of responsibility, empathy, and discretion. Resource Management: Capable of working within budget constraints and continuously seeking to optimize resource use. Service-Oriented: Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development. Languages Good command of the English language.
