Name of the offer Job vacancy for civilian academic staff Job title UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR (M/F) basic salary of 15,175 PLN gross, seniority allowance Organisational unit Institute for the Training and Development of Management Staff Faculty of Security and Legal Sciences Deadline for applications by 5 October 2026 Date of the competition by 12 October 2026 Job description – conducting academic and research work; – carrying out teaching activities for the Institute of Education and Professional Development of Management Staff, primarily in the fields of human resource management, management in organisations responsible for security, management in hierarchical structures, security and defence economics, and risk management in units responsible for security; – participating in organisational work for the benefit of the University, including carrying out tasks within task forces appointed by the Commander-Rector. Requirements holding a postdoctoral degree in security sciences; in the event of employment, the Academy of Security Sciences will be the primary place of work, submission of a declaration stating that the candidate represents the discipline of security studies, submission of a declaration confirming inclusion in the group of research and teaching staff (the so-called ‘N’ figure) in the discipline of security sciences at the Academy of Security Sciences, – a documented record of publications in the field of security sciences, teaching experience at first- and second-cycle degree levels, experience in securing and carrying out research projects. Additional requirements/skills proficiency in a foreign language, both spoken and written (preferably English or German), professional experience in carrying out duties in various roles, including managerial positions, within public bodies responsible for security, experience in organisational work and holding positions at universities.
