The Faculty of Civil Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology invites applications for a full-time position of Assistant in the group of research and teaching staff at the Department of Fundamentals of Building, Faculty of Civil Engineering. The position is offered on a fixed-term basis for one year, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting teaching activities, in particular design classes and tutorials in the field of building engineering. The duties will also include participation in research projects related to building structures, masonry structures, structural diagnostics, rehabilitation, conservation, and restoration of buildings, including both modern and ancient historic buildings located in Poland and abroad, as well as the preparation of scientific publications. The candidate will participate in research, diagnostic, and conservation activities carried out both in Poland and internationally. The scope of responsibilities also includes involvement in the organizational activities of the Department and cooperation with industry partners in the areas of building design, structural diagnostics, conservation, rehabilitation, and restoration of buildings, with particular emphasis on historic structures.
