Descrizione
Our research group is currently seeking a postdoc candidate to investigate the effect of two-photon microprinting on the self-assembly of the photo-generated block copolymers to fabricate novel nanostructured materials. This objective can be achieved by leveraging the unique properties of the confined sub-micron reaction volume generated by the two-photon excited voxel. The recruited postdoc will conduct a comprehensive investigation of the reaction parameters that are critical for triggering polymerization-induced phase separation during the fabrication process. This involves formulating photoresists, studying adapted photoinitiators, and evaluating 3D structures using electron microscopy analysis. Furthermore, the obtained materials will be analyzed by the project partners to elucidate their nanostructured content in the framework of the ANR project nanoPIMS3D. The activities of the postdoc will be the following: -Characterization and evaluation of photoinitiators and other photoresist constituents -Formulation of the photoresists for two-photon microprinting -Execution of two-photon microprinting campaigns and optimization of the ensemble of -process parameters and their impact on the nanostructuring -Characterization of the microstructures by optical and electron microscopy -Preparation of presentation, reports and manuscripts for scientific publications The Chemistry Laboratory spans a range of specialities in chemistry and physical chemistry. It develops interdisciplinary research projects at the frontiers with biology, material sciences and physics. LCH develops intedisiplinary research projects at the cross-road of biology, material science and physics, from fundamental to more apply science. It gathers researchers with a large spectrum of expertise in synthesis (organic, inorganic, (nano)materials, material forming), charaterization and advanced spectroscopies, in conjunction with a strong expertise in atomistic modeling (excited states, reactivity, liquids). The postdoctoral fellow will integrate to the Molecules and Nanomaterials for Optics reseach axis, which is a highly interdisciplinary team bringing together expertise in organic and materials chemistry, spectroscopy, and physical chemistry. Within this framework, two-photon microprinting represents an emerging and highly dynamic research field, centered on the development and characterization of photoinitiators and photoresists, as well as the study of their reactivity and underlying physical chemistry. The postdoctoral researcher's work will be jointly supervised by A. Banyasz and C. Monnereau. When you join our team, we offer you : • A stimulating work environment with opportunities to interact with research staff • 44 days of vacation/RTT per year • Excellent working conditions (flexible hours, remote work) • A company cafeteria offering lunch at an affordable price • Partial reimbursement of transit passes (75%) + a sustainable mobility allowance of up to €300 per year • A location accessible by public transit + private parking • Financial contribution toward health insurance premiums Annuncio in inglese.
