Your Responsibilities This postdoctoral position offers the opportunity to drive forward research at the interface of microfluidics and molecular biosciences. A main focus will be on the design, development, and application of high-throughput microfluidic systems for cutting-edge use in life sciences and biomedical research. Advancing high-throughput biochemical and microbiological screening methods, microfluidic diagnostic assays, and single-molecule microfluidic approaches Conducting both independent and collaborative research, with the opportunity to develop and advance a distinct research profile in biomicrofluidics Contributing to the conceptual design and technical realization of novel microfluidic methods and assays in close collaboration with students, interdisciplinary partners, and institutional collaborators Participation in the acquisition of third-party funding, publishing in international journals, and presenting at scientific conferences Developing and teaching courses in Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, supervising students, supporting administrative tasks, and participating in university governance and institute-level organizational activities Your Profile Applicants must hold a completed PhD in Natural Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related field and demonstrate strong expertise in biomicrofluidics.
