The selected candidate will work within the Sical team at the LIRIS laboratory on the La Doua campus (Blaise Pascal building). The recruited individual (M/F) will interact daily with members of the Sical team. This thesis will examine how users perceive and understand the vulnerabilities of various online digital services, and how these vulnerabilities impact their usage, before exploring ways of dealing with these vulnerabilities by anticipating, negotiating, avoiding or adapting to them. The aim will therefore be, on the one hand, to rethink the interfaces of online digital services and interactions with these services, in order to better understand malfunctions and address them at an individual level; and, on the other hand, to explore forms of governance to collectively manage vulnerabilities within a digital commons.
