Your Responsibilities Research and publication activities in applied mathematics Writing a doctoral thesis with a focus on mathematics for industrial applications or interdisciplinary applications Participation in the department’s interdisciplinary projects and industry projects within the framework of the "Living Lab Mathematics in Applications" Support in the further development of the department’s own software packages Teaching courses and assisting with teaching and examination tasks at the department Participation in organizational and administrative tasks Your Profile Completed masters degree in mathematics or a related field Excellent English skills, both spoken and written Competence in developing mathematical application software, e.g., with C++/Python Independent working style and initiative Communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on interdisciplinary and industrial contexts Broad interest in the application of mathematics, especially in the research areas represented at the department We Offer Meaning: We offer meaningful work for the world of tomorrow.
