Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School Of Geography Funded by Research Ireland through the Sustainable Communities National Challenge Fund, the CONUNDRUM project aims to understand mobility issues in Irish towns and to reimagine how we could achieve more sustainable transport and mobility outside of our cities. Our purpose is to support more resilient urban areas and sustainable communities by enabling government, citizens and enterprise to work more effectively together. We do this through co-creating ideas and solutions with communities in workshops, and through upskilling and training opportunities for local authorities and other organisations. This is enabled by our platform, TownsMatter, which allows communities and local authorities to compare, share and explore opportunities and challenges related to sustainable, active and safe mobility in their towns. This is a joint project between UCD and Trinity College Dublin. POST DOC LEVEL 1 Salary Scale: €47,273 - €53,925 Per Annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
