Thermo-mechanical characterization, focusing on fracture behavior, performance under extreme conditions (temperature and speed), and curing, degradation, and self-healing processes. Design of sustainable materials and structures, covering composite optimization, reuse and recycling strategies, and applications in construction and infrastructure. Advanced manufacturing, especially additive manufacturing applied to sectors such as transportation and healthcare. Through this work, AMADE has established itself as a leading European reference in composite materials, ranking at the top in scientific output in Catalonia and Spain and standing out for the impact and citation of its publications. Recognised Researcher position has been opened. The candidate must be a senior researcher with demonstrated expertise in the mechanical characterisation and damage analysis of materials under extreme cryogenic conditions, as well as in the development of multiscale modelling and numerical simulation strategies for aerospace applications. The profile requires proven experience in experimental validation, uncertainty quantification, and the validation of complex computational models, together with a strong record of scientific publications, international collaboration, industrial engagement, and participation in competitive research projects, including European programmes.
