JOB LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: CEMI UDC FACILITIES – NAVANTIA Batallones Building (Ferrol), Monday to Friday from 9:00 – 14:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00 This contract is convened under the project Centro Mixto de Investigación "The shipyard of the future" (hereinafter CEMI) in which the University of A Coruña and the companies STGO and Navantia participate. The purpose of this contract is the collaboration in the research activities carried out within CEMI. TASKS TO BE PERFORMED AND THE SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT The tasks of the hired researcher will support the development of a simulator for the robotization of bulkhead preoutfitting operations: o Plant modeling in RoboDK. o Integration of robotic control logic. o Design of the communications architecture. o Synchronization of states between the simulator and the HMI (Human-Machine Interface). o Management of robots, sensors, and potential PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). • DURATION OF THE CONTRACT The contract will be fixed-term, in accordance with applicable law.
