Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. JOB DUTIES The successful candidate will provide research support within the UDC Polymers Group. Specifically, they will perform technical research support tasks for Work Package WP3: “Degradation of BHJs comprising the SPC microstructure” of the ERC-CoG PARACRYST project (101086805). These tasks include: Preparation and processing of solutions and thin films (spin/blade coating) of semiconductor polymers. Fabrication of organic solar cells (OSCs) and performance of degradation and stability tests (burn-in tests). Supporting morphological and structural characterization through the operation of analytical and laboratory equipment (such as DSC, FTIR, microscopy, or electrical measurement systems). Technical maintenance of laboratory equipment, management of consumables inventory, and uploading/organization of experimental data on the group’s servers. JUSTIFICATION OF THE CONTRACT DURATION The tasks to be performed under this contract are critical to the technical execution of WP3, specifically for the development of the controlled degradation experiments and the correlative microstructural analysis defined in the project’s Grant Agreement. The planned contract duration is considered to be strictly necessary to carry out the fabrication of the devices, monitor their stability, and compile the datasets required to meet the project’s scientific milestones.
