Communication and science outreach technician JOB LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: CICA – Interdisciplinary Center for Chemistry and Biology. Monday to Friday, 09:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. (20 hours/week) TASKS TO BE PERFORMED: 1. Implementation of the FECYT projects communication plan: Drafting press releases for key events in FECYT projects. Drafting and publishing content on social media. Monitoring the media impact of all activities. Publishing posts and events on the project website and the CICA website. Attending outreach events, fairs, and conferences where the results are presented. 2. Organization of conferences: Contacting speakers, technical organization of conferences, taking photos and writing reports, travel management, and technical assistance. Organization of conferences held in schools, creation of posters and advertising, graphic documentation of events. 3. Conducting guided tours of the center: Organizing tour dates, assisting visitors, guiding tours, explaining the center's works and facilities. 4. Organization of student conferences and exhibitions: Coordination with museums, institutions, transportation management, hiring of speakers and ancillary services for exhibitions such as catering or signage. 5. Assistance with project justification: Review and evaluation of surveys conducted among project participants. Preparation of reports on the overall impact of the projects. Drafting of technical reports and numerical and graphic documentation. CONTRACT DURATION: The duration shall be linked to the availability of adequate and sufficient funding, and shall in any case terminate upon the exhaustion of the funds available in the project allocated to the hiring of personnel.
