Description of the research subject The postdoctoral research is part of the RESONA project. It is also inclueded into the Concerto initiative (Consultation around the concept of an Organistic Territory) within the Greater Bergerac area. The ESO laboratory at the University of Le Mans will be responsible for the overall diagnostic phase, namely the identification of stakeholders, resources, practices, and flows. The study of material flows within the territory will rely on the creation of a map, which will serve as a tool in the consultation process. The project will address the circular bioeconomy loop as a whole and will emphasize the return of organic matter to the soil. Some activities will be carried out jointly with the Dordogne Chamber of Agriculture, particularly for field surveys with stakeholders in the agricultural sector, especially in viticulture. Planning research project The entire project will take place from January 2026 to February 2027. Research on material flows and organic matter valorization practices in the territory will take place between May 2026 and the end of September 2026. The post-doctoral researcher will be particularly involved in supervising field surveys and analyzing the results during the summer of 2026. Assigned activities and expected results The postdoctoral researcher will be specifically responsible for diagnosing the organic territory. They will contribute to Deliverable 1, particularly the results of field surveys and the creation of a flow metabolism map. They will also participate in meetings concerning the master plan and in drafting the document, which must be submitted by October 31, 2026.
