La durata delle borse è di 6 mesi, con inizio previsto ad agosto 2026, rinnovabili fino a un massimo di 9 mesi. È richiesta la presentazione di documenti specifici, tra cui un certificato di laurea e una lettera di motivazione. Applications are open for 3 Scientific Initiation Studentships, within the framework of 1801P.01674.1.01 Leadership Skills: how former entrepreneurs thrive in wage employment and new ventures, 2024.16874.PEX , financed by national funds through FCT/MCTES (PIDDAC Workplan: a) Development and management of longitudinal databases by integrating microdata from the Quadros de Pessoal (QP) and Sistema de Contas Integradas das Empresas (SCIE). The research activities will involve data preparation and management, statistical and econometric analysis, literature review, and support for the dissemination of research results. b) Analysis of the career development of former entrepreneurs through the econometric study of employment trajectories following business closure, with a particular focus on entry wages and wage progression after transition to paid employment. c) Analysis of the career development of former entrepreneurs through the econometric study of employment trajectories following business closure, with a particular focus on entry hierarchical positions and career development after transition to paid employment. d) Comparative econometric analysis of the performance of start-ups founded by former entrepreneurs and start-ups founded by individuals without prior entrepreneurial experience, aiming to identify the key determinants of firm performance and survival. The research activities will involve data preparation and management, statistical and econometric analysis, literature review, and support for the dissemination of research results. Duration: The research fellowship(s) will have the duration of 6 months. It’s expected to begin in August 2026, and may be eventually renewed up to the maximum of 9 months, including the duration of the initial contract. It is mandatory to formalize applications with the submission of the following documents: i) B1 Form – Fellowship application ( https://ist-id.pt/recursos-humanos/bolseiros/#documentos-relacionados ); ii) Curriculum Vitae ; iii) academic degree certificate, where applicable; iv) proof of enrollment at an academic degree course; v) motivation letter; vi) declaration on honour that the applicant does not exceed with this contract, including the possible renovations, an accumulated period of one year in this type of studentship, continuously or with interruptions, and has not held any other fellowship directly or indirectly funded by FCT.
