Organic Unit: Computational Infrastructures Coordination Scholarship Theme: Research and development of methodologies for the optimization and support for the MOOC Técnico platform Duration: 6 months Maximum Duration Including Renewals: 12 months Objectives To research and develop operational and support methodologies for the use of the MOOC Técnico platform, specifically aimed at faculty members Work Plan The main activities of the work to be performed within the IT Services (SI) by the scholarship holder include: (i) Research and development of new methodologies to optimize support for faculty members in configuring online courses running on Técnico's MOOC and LMS platforms, as well as addressing technical issues related to content availability on the platform. Keeping the schedule of updates and, crucially, ongoing assessments in the Exams tenant up to date. (ii) Maintenance of modules on the MOOC and LMS platforms, including course configuration and technical issues inherent to content delivery and assessment preparation, as well as configuring course re-runs, uploading videos to the YouTube channel, and generating their respective transcripts and potential translations. Managing the ticketing service and reporting bugs and malfunctions to the external vendor, EduNext, who is responsible for system maintenance. (ii) Participation in various activities that may involve requirements gathering, process development and optimization, evaluation, and documentation.
