The recruited person will contribute to the technological development of gallium nitride based electronic components for RF, microwave and millimetre-wave applications within the framework of a European project. The work will involve the fabrication of test vehicles and devices in a cleanroom environment, the monitoring of technological process steps, the analysis of process results, and interactions with the electrical and RF characterization activities carried out at IEMN. Carry out and monitor cleanroom fabrication steps on GaN materials and heterostructures. Contribute to optical and electron-beam lithography, metal and dielectric deposition, etching, passivation, metallization and thermal annealing processes. Participate in the fabrication of components and test vehicles intended for electrical, RF and technological evaluation. Ensure process lot monitoring, process traceability, compilation of technological parameters and analysis of possible process deviations. Interact with characterization teams in order to correlate electrical performance with technological choices. Contribute to the writing of technical summaries, internal reports and project deliverables. The position is open at IEMN, within the WIND group, in the framework of a European project dedicated to the development of advanced GaN technologies for RF, microwave and millimetre-wave components. The recruited person will work in close interaction with researchers, engineers and technicians involved in the fabrication, characterization and analysis of GaN components. The activities will rely on the technological facilities of the IEMN micro and nanofabrication cleanroom, as well as on electrical and RF characterization platforms. The work will be carried out in a collaborative environment involving European academic and industrial partners. The obtained results will contribute to the evaluation of technological building blocks, test vehicles and components intended for demonstrators. Annuncio in inglese.
