This doctoral research position is connected to the new BODYLINES project, recently funded by the Luxembourg Fond National de la Recherche, and embedded within the University of Luxembourg's Department of Education and Social Work. BODYLINES is an innovative project that transforms our understanding of how patients, donors, and their families experience transplantation processes and how structural inequalities - shaped by gender, caregiving obligations, and cross-border care - affect their lived experiences. The project adopts a gender-sensitive, intersectional, and phenomenological approach to explore how individuals navigate transplantation across social, geographical, and institutional borders and how these processes shape their identities, relationships, and well-being.
