Łukasiewicz Research Network - Krakow Institute of Technology announces a competition for a Chief Research Specialist position in the HQCastScrap-RS. RS - Frontiers of using scrap raw materials for high quality castings. The Institute conducts scientific research, development and implementation studies, develop prototype tools and other devices, as well as provide research and technological services. The recipients of our solutions are, among others, representatives of the foundry, tooling, aerospace, medical and energy industries. Tasks: The person employed as a the Chief Research Specialist will be involved in project work in HQCastScrap - Frontiers of using scrap raw materials for high quality castings. The appointment is planned for 24 months . The main responsibilities will include: Carrying out a research and development project in the field of foundry technology and recycling of charge materials. Analyzing the needs of enterprises and cooperating with industrial and scientific partners. Planning, conducting, and documenting R&D work, as well as preparing reports, analyses, and recommendations. Identifying and developing innovative technological solutions, including feasibility analysis. Developing and implementing improvements to technological processes, and supporting the transfer of research results to industry. Organizing and participating in workshops, conferences, and networking events. Monitoring technological and regulatory trends, and initiating cooperation with scientific institutions and enterprises. Preparing project documentation, publications, presentations, and materials for disseminating research results. Employment Conditions: - half-time employment under an employment contract for a period of 24 months; - remuneration in accordance with the rate for this position, i.e. PLN 10 600,00 per month as the total employer cost (gross-gross) in accordance with the program’s competition rules; - work in a research organization focused on innovative and prestigious R&D projects; - 36 days of annual leave per calendar year; - a benefits package, including holiday co-financing, supplementary medical care and the option to join a life-insurance scheme; - opportunities for continuous professional development and support from the Institute; - free parking; - an equality-based working environment that supports sustainable development.
