Your Responsibilities Working on the FWF research project “METABOLIC-SWITCH for ferroptosis suppression” ( https://www.fwf.ac.at/en/research-radar/10.55776/PAT3281825 ), which investigates novel strategies to inhibit ferroptosis in degenerative diseases. The focus is on elucidating molecular mechanisms of ferroptosis, identifying novel therapeutic targets, and generating and analyzing multiomics datasets Interdisciplinary research on ferroptosis and metabolic regulation using bioanalytical, cell biological, and molecular pharmacological techniques Writing scientific publications Preparation of a project-related dissertation in the field of pharmacognosy Guidance and supervision of students in research activities Active participation in conferences, workshops, and training events Contribution to science communication activities within the scope of the project Assistance with organizational and administrative tasks and evaluation measures Your Profile Completed diploma or master's degree in pharmacy, biochemistry, molecular medicine, biology, or related subjects Basic knowledge of analytics, cell biology, signal transduction, and molecular pharmacology, ideally with a focus on redox biology Practical experience with standard biochemical and cell biology techniques (cell culture, WB, IF, qPCR, FACS) is optional is an advantage, chromatographic (HPLC) and mass spectrometric methods (LC-MS/MS) experience is optional Very good written and spoken English skills Very good IT skills (MS Office, data visualization, statistics programs) High motivation, team and communication skills, ability to work independently We Offer Meaning: We offer meaningful work for the world of tomorrow.
