KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Increasing humanitarian needs, climate change, environmental degradation and supply chain disruptions are creating new challenges for global humanitarian and development organizations. Sustainable and resilient supply chains are essential to ensure that humanitarian and development assistance is delivered efficiently while minimizing negative environmental and social impacts. The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking Supply Chain Officers (Sustainability) to support the design and implementation of initiatives that improve sustainability, resilience and operational efficiency across supply chain systems. Successful candidates will contribute to projects, partnerships, research and technical support activities that help WFP adopt more sustainable approaches to procurement, logistics and supply chain management. The Supply Chain Officers (Sustainability) will work within the Sustainable Supply Chain Unit at WFP’s headquarters in Rome, Italy.
