The International Research on Energy Systems Intergration, Education & Environment for Sustainability and Innovation Center(IRESI), is a research centre housed in the School of Business. IRESI's research focuses on propelling sustainable energy systems into the future by helping individuals, organisations and institutions in the pursuit of a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable energy landscape. We are seeking a highly technical and motivated Research Assistant to work closely with the wider technical team on the Horizon Europe–funded AI-EFFECT project. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the integration, analysis, and testing of AI services developed across the AI-EFFECT partner network, supporting the evaluation, validation, and interoperability of AI-driven solutions. This role is hands-on and collaborative, requiring strong computational, analytical, and software skills. The Research Assistant will play a key role in working alongside international project partners to analyse, test, and document AI services, ensuring seamless integration and performance across the project ecosystem. Research Assistant (Level 1): €34,130 p.a. (1 point) Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions. Closing Date: 23:30hrs (local Irish time) on Sunday 19th July 2026.
