Summary: There is an open call for one (1) Research Initiation Grant (“Bolsa de Iniciação à Investigação”) at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of project BRISA-PS2026. Scientific Area: Networks and services Group: Embedded Systems – Av Work Objectives: 1. Installation and customization of open-source autonomous driving stacks 2. Adaptation of an autonomous vehicle and installation of hardware and software components. 3. Preparation of documentation, including technical reports and scientific papers. Place of work: The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at Aveiro, under the supervision of Prof. Joaquim José de Castro Ferreira. Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of renewal. This type of scholarship has a maximum duration of 1 year. Start date: September 2026 or soon thereafter.
