The Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte) of the Iscte Association – Knowledge and Innovation opens a call for a Scientific Initiation Scholarship for Master's Students, under the Multiannual Funding Programme Contract for R&D Units 2025-2029, signed between FCT and the R&D Unit Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte), with reference UID/3126/2025. Scientific Area : History Admission requirements: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a field of Social Sciences or Humanities and be enrolled in a Master's Degree in History (according to Article 6 of the Regulation of Research Grants of the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. (Reg. No. 950/2019). Academic degrees obtained in foreign countries require registration by a Portuguese institution, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of 16 August, and Ordinance No. 33/2019, of 25 January. Experience in event organization; c. Experience or interest in social media management, with working knowledge of platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram; d. Work plan : The work plan will consist of scientific research and dissemination activities within the scope of the 3rd edition of Meetings with History 2027, namely secretariat of the meetings of the organizing committee, including scheduling, recording of minutes and monitoring of decisions; communication with partner institutions, speakers and participants; collaboration in the management of the logistics of the Meetings; support for the maintenance and updating of the website; management of social networks and support for dissemination; support to the secretariat on the days of the event; support after the Meetings. Duration of the fellowship: The fellowship lasts for 6 months. The fellowship contract may eventually be renewed within the term of the research project and in accordance with the stipulations of point 4 of Article 6 of the Regulation of Research Grants of the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. in force.
