[JB7] II - Grant location: Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra III- Scientific supervision/coordination of the grant: Carla Sofia Pinheiro Vitorino IV - Work Plan / Goals to be achieved: The objective of this project is to develop a patient-specific, biodegradable nanothermal mesh integrating hybrid gold–lipid nanoparticles for localized glioblastoma treatment, optimized through a Quality by Design approach supported by computational modeling. Following process and formulation optimization, the system will be physicochemically and mechanically characterized, including nanoparticle properties, drug loading, release kinetics, and photothermal performance. Its therapeutic efficacy will then be evaluated in advanced in vitro 3D glioblastoma models and validated in vivo in orthotopic animal models to assess antitumor activity and safety V - Initial grant duration: 6 months V.I - Renewal Possibility: Non-renewable VI - Funding and financial conditions of the grant VI.I - Monthly grant amount (paid by bank transfer at the end of each month): 1359,64€ VI.II - Other financial components of the grant: N.A.
