Scientific Area: Biological or Agricultural Sciences II. Admission Requirements: 1. General Requirements: a. Holder of a PhD in Biological or Agricultural Sciences, provided that the candidate's academic and scientific record demonstrates relevant specialization for the execution of the work plan, especially in the area of ​​remote sensing of the atmosphere; b. The PhD degree must have been obtained within the three years prior to the date of submission of the application; c. The postdoctoral research must be carried out at a host institution different from the institution where the research work that led to the granting of the doctoral degree was developed; d. The research activities do not require postdoctoral experience; e. The research activities have a development and execution period equal to or less than three years; f. The fellow does not exceed, with the signing of the fellowship contract in question, including possible renewals, an accumulated period of three years in this type of fellowship, whether consecutive or intermittent. 2. Preferred requirements: Knowledge of entomology and/or monitoring and identification of agricultural pests, aptitude and skills demonstrated for fieldwork, carrying out monitoring actions, identification of specimens of agricultural pests, aptitude in the development of monitoring programs, use of databases and platforms for inventory, incorporation of monitoring and climate data, and generation of reports/alerts. III. Work plan: The fellowship's work plan is included in the work program of the PESTDISPLAT_2CAP project. In a non-exhaustive manner, the work plan will involve: i) Interaction with farmers and technicians; ii) Collection and systematization of data from previous monitoring generated by project partners; iii) Field monitoring of 4 target pests; iv) Data collection in a real-world context and systematization of field and climatic data and information; v) Collection, analysis, and identification of captures in collected samples; vi) Data entry into platforms; vii) Development of models and alerts for pest occurrences; viii) Dissemination of the project and training of farmers and technicians; ix) Participation in the ISOPlexis team's activities. A detailed work plan will be provided to the selected candidate. Additionally, the scholarship recipient will be required to collect and systematize data according to the ISOPlexis standards. The recruited fellow will work in a team and will be supervised by the Project Coordinator and in collaboration with the ISOPlexis researchers. IV.
