A tender is open for the attribution of Research Scholarship within the scope of the R&D project Ricardo Leone: Preservar a memória de uma oficina portuguesa de vitrais do século XX (2024.143669.PEX), funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P, through national funds (PIDDAC), in the following conditions: Work Plan: Development of immersive interactive environment based on 3D robust and feature rich game engine (e.g. Unity) including interactive tools to enable movement in the 3D space and manipulation and access to relevant materials/digital artefacts. Generation of the virtual tour by integrating the components created and made available in the context of this task, involving the proposed features. This task should involve the following steps: 1. Requirements gathering with the project team; 2. Choice of technology; 3. Prototype development; 4. Design of prototype evaluation methodology; Execution of the evaluation and analysis of results; 5. Correction of any identified limitations; 6. Preparation of reports, publications, presentations and/or demonstrations that are requested as well as attendance at scientific or other events to present the project or the artifacts already mentioned above. Workplace: The work will be developed at the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the New University of Lisbon under the scientific supervision of Professor Armanda Rodrigues and Professor Nuno Correia, with the contracting entity being NOVA.id.FCT – Association for Innovation and Development of FCT. Fellowship duration: The fellowship will last for 6 months, starting in August 2026. The grant contract may eventually be renewed within the duration of the project.
