Mission: Provide technical support to an experimental greenhouse crop consisting of approximately 90 plants, within the framework of agronomic research activities linked to the study of plant behavior in controlled or semi-controlled conditions. Functions to be developed: Prepare the experimental crop in the greenhouse, including preparing the substrates, filling pots, arranging the plants and identifying or marking the specimens according to the established experimental design. Carry out the planting and initial monitoring of the approximately 90 plants, ensuring their correct implementation and detecting possible incidents in the early stages of cultivation. Carry out ordinary crop maintenance, including watering, checking the condition of the substrate, visual inspection of the health status of the plants, removal of leaves or damaged parts and other basic agronomic management tasks. Apply, if necessary, specific treatments or corrective actions in the presence of pests, diseases, water stress, nutritional deficiencies or other incidents that may affect the development of the crop, always in accordance with the technical instructions of the project. Carry out periodic agronomic measurements of the plants, such as height, diameter, number of leaves, phenological state, vigor, presence of flowering or fruiting, or other variables that are defined according to the plant species and the objectives of the trial. Record in an orderly manner the data obtained during crop monitoring, using the templates, field sheets or digital tools established by the project, and ensuring traceability between each plant, treatment or experimental area. Monitor the general conditions of the greenhouse and report possible incidents related to the irrigation system, ventilation, temperature, humidity, sensors, condition of the pots or any other element that may affect the crop. Participate in the harvest of plants or plant parts of interest, following the criteria established by the experimental protocol and guaranteeing the correct identification of the samples. Prepare and process plant samples after harvest, including separating plant parts if necessary, determining fresh weight, preparing for drying and subsequently obtaining dry weight. Provide support for the basic processing of the collected agronomic data, reviewing the consistency of the records, detecting possible errors or anomalous values and preparing the information for subsequent analysis by the research team. Collaborate in the documentation of the trial, providing qualitative observations on the evolution of the crop, detected incidents and preliminary results of agronomic monitoring.
